The purpose of this survey is to collect information about your experience at the 2014 Pennsylvania Kiwanis Convention. The survey results will be utilized in the planning of the 2015 Convention.
Members from many of Pennsylvania’s 195 Kiwanis Clubs gathered in Valley Forge for their annual district convention. To kick off the event and jump-start efforts to establish a new Norristown chapter, about 15 Kiwanis from multiple branches of the organization came to Norristown for a service project to clean up Elmwood Park.
Over the years, our annual fundraiser has provided an easy way for Kiwanis Clubs and Service Leadership Programs to raise money for their service accounts.

Communications is vital to Kiwanis growth and service. A good communications strategy and well-executed tactics help maintain positive relationships between your club and community—local and global. Messaging and media, whether it appears in a news release, brochure or public service announcement, should be consciously consistent.
At the District Convention which was completed on Sunday, Jen Vare, who is presently the Trustee for Region VII, was elected District Governor elect, effective October 1, 2014. Jen’s election to the position of Governor-elect will create a vacancy in the position of Region VII Trustee. There are two years remaining on the three year term Jen was serving.
The three year terms of the current Region III Trustee Ann Graves and Region IV Trustee Rick Relyea expire on September 30, 2015. Therefore at the upcoming fall region meetings, it will be necessary to elect a Kiwanian to serve a three year term for trustee which will begin on October 1, 2015.
