Timmy

Timmy

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that Timmy passed away in his sleep about 5:30 am on January 12.

For those who may not know Timmy, he was Neil Young's service dog. If you have been to a PA District Convention or Mid-Winter Conference in the past decade or more, you probably saw Timmy there.

Timmy had quite a career with Neil, as both a service dog and a therapy dog. Timmy worked at Ground Zero in New York after the 9/11 terrorist attack. More information on Timmy's work is available on the Young's Funny Farm site. A trooper till the end, Neil said Timmy was with him on a therapy visit yesterday.

Neil said on Facebook this morning that he was going offline for a while.
