A few notes from the Lancaster 2010 planning committee
There are a few important things to bring along with you to the convention:
· Your passion and enthusiasm for Kiwanis.
· Your club/division basket for the basket raffle -- contact First Lady Doris at Doris Email if you have any questions. Please try to have them to the basket room no later than lunch on Friday to insure enough time to buy chances and/or bid.
· On the basket theme, bring address labels to use on your entries. It cuts down on some time, it eliminates writers’ cramp, and allows you more time to learn about Kiwanis projects.
· Don’t forget some cash for the basket room and quilt raffle.
· Your camera and plenty of room on your memory card to capture the moments, but please, out
of respect for the Amish beliefs, no photos during Friday nights dinner!
· Did I mention ENTHUSIASM!
If you haven’t done so, reservations, including hotel registrations, are still be accepted. Contact the District Office for more details.
