Kiwanis International has organized a new Kiwanis Club in Northern Allegheny County. Pennsylvania Kiwanis District Governor Mary Edwards presided during the organizational meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Allegheny North on Tuesday evening, March 25 at the Baierl Family YMCA. The enthusiastic charter members elected the following officers and directors:

The Kiwanis Club of Allegheny North will meet at 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Baierl Family YMCA, 2565 Nicholson Road, Sewickley, PA 15143. The club members will become actively involved in community service and expand the service to children in Northern Allegheny County.
The Kiwanis Club of Allegheny North is a part of a global organization of more than 13,000 Kiwanis clubs in 90 countries throughout the world.
