Kiwanis International Names Carolyn Mosby-Williams

INDIANAPOLIS – February 21, 2008 - Kiwanis International has hired marketing and
communications executive Carolyn Mosby-Williams as Chief Marketing Officer,
effective March 3, 2008. In this newly created position, Mosby-Williams will be
responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for all global marketing,
branding, and communications for the international non-profit.

“Carolyn is a great addition to the Kiwanis Family,” said Rob Parker, Kiwanis
International Chief Executive Officer. “Her energy, enthusiasm, and fresh perspective
will be extremely important as we work to build and extend the Kiwanis brand
worldwide.”

Mosby-Williams brings more than 17 years of experience, most recently as a consultant
for Dell, Inc., one of the world’s largest computer manufacturers, where she was
responsible for leading strategic internal and external communications and community
relations for their Midwest fulfillment operation in West Chester, Ohio. Mosby-
Williams also served as vice-president of marketing communications for Veolia Water
Indianapolis LLC, the nation’s largest public/private water partnership and has held
similar positions in the natural gas, steel, and telecommunications industries, non-profit
environment, and Indiana state government.

Mosby-Williams’ civic involvement includes serving two terms as chairman of the board
for Indiana Black Expo, Inc., as well as past involvement on the boards of Big Brothers
Big Sisters of Central Indiana, Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, Rebuilding
Together Indianapolis, Indianapolis Black Chamber of Commerce, Urban League of
Northwest Indiana, IVY Tech State College Northwest Indiana Foundation Board,
Indiana University Northwest Advisory Board, and the Salvation Army Northwest
Indiana Advisory Board.
