Division Realignment in Region II

At the board meeting on July 28, 2007, the District Board accepted a recommendation from a committee which realigned the divisions in Region II. Division 6 was dissolved and the clubs assigned to the remaining divisions in the region. Some additional reassignments were necessary to even out the number of clubs in the three divisions.

The division realignment was necessary for two reasons:

  • The position of Lt. Governor in Division 6 had been vacant for nearly two years and there was no candidate in sight to fill the position.
  • More importantly, Region II no longer had enough clubs to justify four divisions.

The new division assignments are as follows:
