2007-2008 District Goals
All clubs will sponsor and fulfill their responsibilities to Service Leadership Program(s)
or
participate in BUG, Terrific Kids or Key Leader sponsorship
- Currently about 20% of PA Kiwanis clubs do not sponsor a Service Leadership Program
All clubs will participate in PA Reads, Young Children/Priority One and initiate a new service project
- Projects should be established using tools such as the community survey or contact with non-profit agencies
- Projects should address a relevant community need
Kiwanis International Achievement Recipients (Distinguished Member, Club, Division) will increase by 10%
and
PA Distinguished Kiwanian Recipients will increase by 25%
- Percent of increase is over awards for 2005-06 (latest figures available)
- Key to increase may depend on better reporting
District/Divisions will meet attendance goals for Mid-Winter Conference and District and International Conventions
and
All clubs will have representation at regional meetings
- Mid-winter = 350; District = 500; International TBA
- Division goals for Mid-winter and District TBA
Clubs will contribute a minimum of $5 per member to the Kiwanis International Foundation Annual Gift Campaign
and
Clubs will contribute a minimum of $3 per member to the PA Kiwanis Foundation
At least 50% of clubs will make a contribution to the KIF endowment campaign
- 50% of money raised through a dedicated fund raising event will be donated to KIF (club contributions of $1000 or $2000 will be eligible for Hixson or Tablet of Honor and can be pledged over four years)
- Contribution is in addition to annual gift to KIF
All club Presidents and Secretaries will receive Club Leadership Education prior to Oct. 1, 2007
- Education to take place at CLE sessions, District Convention or make-up/one on one
All regions will have an active TAG team with each division having representation As demonstrated by regular TAG meetings, growth programs presented at club, division and/or regional meetings, contributions to club growth or NCO campaigns

- TAG will work to promote existing club growth as well as New Club Opening
Membership will increase by 8.8% (actual number will be based on membership as of September 2007 figures) through:
1. Classic club membership increase
2. Opening 8 new (classic) Kiwanis clubs
- % is Pennsylvania’s share of the 500,000 classic club members by 2015
- Number of new clubs as assigned by Kiwanis International based on 2005-06 membership
